Application Documents 

  • Résumé: A well-structured PDF résumé should be part of your application here at LucaNet. Make sure to be clear and concise with your educational/career background and include your responsibilities in your previous roles. Feel free to add voluntary work or experiences abroad, especially when you haven’t been able to gather a lot of work experience yet. Always double check that your CV is up to date with the most relevant information for this specific application. But always remember: Less is more. And what to do when you run out of space? Refer to your Xing or LinkedIn profiles.
  • Cover letter: A cover letter is not necessarily needed, but we definitely enjoy reading them! If you decide to include a cover letter, let us know why you think that you’re the best candidate for this position. Give us an insight into your strengths and how you plan on using them here at LucaNet, don’t just recite your CV. Cover letters are always a good way to show us who you are next to your professional experience – and what your personality and mindset are like. 
  • References and certificates: You want to underline your qualifications and skills with references or certificates? Feel free to do so and attach documents that are relevant for the position you’re applying for. If we need further documents, we will let you know. 

Applying Online 

You got all your documents together and you’re ready to apply? Great! Our online application process only takes about 5 minutes. As we also want to ensure the best candidate experience for you, we only accept applications via our website. So just click on the “Apply now” button at the bottom of our job ad. You will be redirected to our online form, where you can fill out your personal information and add your documents easily. We recommend uploading your documents separately in PDF files in a precise order. Tips & Tricks for Your Interview at LucaNet 

You’ve mastered the first hurdle and you got invited to an interview. But what now? Read our tips on how to get ready for an interview: 

  1. Preparation is key: Get acquainted with the company via the company website, social media accounts or recent press releases. Get to know who we are, who our customers are and what we do.  Additionally, always keep in mind to think about your own goals and ambitions. Ask yourself why you are applying for this position and why you believe that you are the perfect candidate for this specific job. Try to reflect on your career history to date and think about the most important points to mention to the interviewer. First impressions always count. We like to see motivation and going into an interview well-prepared, we’ll do the same for you. 

  2. Conduct a test run: Try to avoid blunders on the day of the interview by checking your microphone and web cam as well as ensuring that you have a stable internet connection beforehand. For example, you could ask a friend or family member to conduct a test run with you to make sure everything runs smoothly. We usually use Microsoft Teams for video interviews, therefore have a browser installed that supports Microsoft Teams Web like Microsoft Edge or Chrome. In case of phone interviews, charge your phone the night before so your battery won’t die. We know this might seem obvious, but technology can be unpredictable sometimes and this will save you a lot of stress before the interview. If your interview will be in person, make sure to arrive on time and look for the entrance. Leave yourself some minutes before the interview to have time to use the bathroom or have a final check.  

  3. Dress appropriately: Due to the Corona pandemic, all our interviews are conducted via phone and video calls. However, when it comes to dressing appropriately for your interview, you should approach it in the same way as you would for an in-person interview. Whether your interview is live or via video conference, always dress professionally. Doing so will not only leave a good impression on the interviewer but also give you a confident feeling.  

  4. Create a pleasant atmosphere: When your interview will happen remotely make sure to avoid noises in the background during your interview. Use a space where you feel most comfortable at with less distractions. Tell your family members that you have an interview, so unnecessary interruptions can be avoided. This also includes turning off cell phones, closing doors and shutting windows. 

  5. Be on time: Don’t rush into interviews. Take 10 to 15 minutes beforehand to prepare mentally for the upcoming interview. Try to relax and have a glass of water close by in case your mouth gets dry from talking. 

  6.
